Installation problem

The crimp butt connections provided were WAY too big. This made it difficult to establish a good connection. Otherwise a good product

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Not sure

DOSE THE JOB Best among spare parts

The connectors were too difficult to crimp. But I didn't have an auto crimp tool. Tried with large pliers, no success. So I grew, wrapped wires and taped them with electrical tape. never mind Would buy again.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Completely successful

This Dorman 973-307 hanger is just what I needed to get my truck's HVAC fan working and running at all 4 functional speeds again. Use with HVAC 973-011 Electric Fan Resistor. Both worked great in this app. See photo.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

You will need it!

When replacing an old blower motor resistor on a Ford truck, you must 100% replace it and the resistor. This is because the existing one will rust along with the resistor, and the plastic case will become brittle and break no matter how carefully you handle it. Save yourself the headache and spend a few bucks on this pendant. Easy installation if you have mechanical/electrical skills or you can watch YouTube videos on installation.

  • Certified

If you need a resistor you probably need one too

I bought a resistor for my F-350 as the fan only worked on positions 3 and 4. Turned out when I went to make installation that, like EVERYTHING, this part was also fried along with a resistor. Easy installation. The wires were long enough to plug where it was convenient. I recommend that you cut each wire to a different length, the wire connectors are not bundled in one place. The staggered arrangement of the terminals facilitates the placement of all wires and terminals within the wire jacket.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • So far so good

Great replacement for my burned plug!

I first bought a fan resistor for my 2014 Ford E-250 Van because I only had a high fan speed. After receiving the resistor, I removed my old one and found that the connector was completely melted and badly rusted. After getting this new one that came with Stak-On crimp connectors I now have all 4 fan speeds. There were no instructions, but they are not needed. Cut one of the wires from the old connector, strip it, and crimp it onto the new connector in the same place. Doing this one at a time…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Works great!: Blower

Got this for a 2000 Ranger despite being listed in the vehicle compatibility matrix. I based my decision on a photo that looked exactly like the OEM connector on my Ranger. This is an exact match except for the colors of the wires. It comes with four connectors. I installed it and went back to four fan speeds in about 30 minutes. Pros: - Exact replica of OEM connector - Heavy duty copper wire - Comes with built in splices Cons (admittedly minor): - Wires are all black and do not match OEM…

Great fit for my 1996 Ford Bronco XLT. So happy.

Fits my 1996 Ford Bronco XLT perfectly. I'm glad I was able to find this replacement wiring harness for a Revain with Prime at such a great price. My factory plug melted/burned out on the black wire. As the resistor and wiring harness corrode over time, the resistance in the connector will build up and the connector will melt due to excessive heat. It can also be because an old fan motor with corrosion and rusting in the motor is also drawing too much current, causing excessive current draw…

Pros
  • Convenience
Cons
  • Has some drawbacks
