Impressive Blower Resistor Replacement Harness

Based on my experience, this automotive harness is a must-have for any car owner with a faulty blower resistor. It was very easy to install and my car's blower works like new again. The build quality is great and seems like it will last a long time. Full replacement fixed all issues. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey, but in the long run, it will save you money on repairs.

Pros
  • Easy installation and direct replacement for OEM parts.
Cons
  • The product is not compatible with all vehicle makes and models, limiting its versatility.

Replaced this part on my 2001 Crown vic on December 23rd.

Replaced this part on my 2001 crown on December 23, 2015, the fan only started blowing at full speed about a month ago. Then he "fixed” himself for a few days, and then stopped working altogether. A professional auto repair tech told me that the probable cause of the repeated resistor failure was most likely the fan motor drawing too many amps and frying the resistor. Replaced resistor and fan motor with parts from Auto Zone.

Pros
  • Reliable quality - backed by a team of engineers and quality specialists in the USA
Cons
  • Modern

One buyer said it was too small, but in fact I found the resistor to be slightly larger than my '94 town car's original resistor and had to shave some of the plastic around the rim to get it to fit. Another reviewer with a '94 town car report was helpful and mentioned that the wires ran in the same order as the old wiring harness. There were…

Pros
  • Complete kit - each kit includes resistor and wire harness needed for most repairs
Cons
  • There are new competitors
