Do Not Buy This Junk Actuator

This automotive motor is trash... It failed after only a month of use and left my car with a broken window. The only pro is that it was easy to install. The cons are the poor quality and lack of durability. Save your money and buy a BETTER brand..

Pros
  • Good quality and durable construction
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with certain vehicle makes and models

I couldn't find an OEM replacement except through a GM dealer for my 2000 Silverado 1500 which is ridiculously expensive. Couldn't find just the drive part unless you have at least 3 end caps. One of the connecting rod clamps is too wide for the connecting rod. It crashes every time you turn the key. I tried bending the plastic, it didn't work. I ended up repotting part of my old OEM lock to make it work, but it took some skill to do without damaging the tiny plastic part. My other issue is…

Pros
  • Long repair - cycle testing in real vehicle doors confirms effective use for years
Cons
  • old
