Not ready for consumption and a waste of time

Too complicated to set up even for experienced Linux users. The instructions are faulty and the support is mostly focused on EU 868 Mhz LoraWan. Instead, buy Adafruit's new 8-lane "The Things Network Gateway" for $80, save yourself the hassle and quadruple your bandwidth. The thing is not ready for the consumer.

Never worked, cumbersome and confusing instructions

I bought this and spent hours getting it to work. Laura is useless to me. wanted GPS. Frustrated with this product and bought a small USB dongle, plugged it in and it worked, and the size of this clumsy thing is 1:20. If you want a complex electronic project, this is e.g. If you want to connect and play, GPS isn't for you.

Well built and functional hardware especially if you have an older Raspberry Pi 2 instead of a new RPi 3. Great Value! It features LoRa and GPS hardware in a working Raspberry Pi hat - no soldering or wiring required. It's definitely not plug-n-play. Don't think you can hook it up to your Raspberry Pi in minutes and have a working LoRa gateway for TTN (Network of Things). Only buy it if you enjoy endless programming and tweaking Linux on your Pi. I also don't recommend this hat if you have real

Product works well and construction is well done

The board is built very well and works exactly as advertised From this point of view only the module deserves 5 stars. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that the documentation on the vendor's website is a bit confusing and the example code provided is not 100% up to date and does not work properly when implemented according to the documentation, leading to frustration can if you are not an experienced programmer.
