Good if not unique

Recently I had some problems with the installation and after a long search I bought a drum drill. What I can say is that many of them are almost identical and it fits into that category. It's not bad because the quality is good and it serves its purpose. I just want to make that clear if you are comparing brands. There are different head designs and this one is ideal for sinks. If you have a difficult problem I also recommend one of these endoscopic cameras because now they are inexpensive too.

Pros
  • Instructions are included in the infographic on this page and also with the product. Make sure the thumbscrew is tight when you turn the drum so that it turns the cable with it. Also: Do not pull the cord past the yellow indicator that indicates you've reached the end of the cord, as this may cause the cord to detach from the drum.
Cons
  • Discontinued

Good for cleaning slow drains

Compared to other options, this one is only 25 feet long, but it was enough to clear a slow shower drain. I didn't use the drill on the drain because I was concerned it might be too strong for this old house and damage the pipe. I tested it out the drain at low speed just to get an idea of how it works. My cordless screwdriver fits perfectly on it. I didn't have a strong drill, but I could twist the snake. I don't think it's necessary to drive at very high speeds anyway. I also tried rotating…

Works great with power tool parts and accessories

I recently had a clogged drain line in my house and was able to clear it myself without having to call a plumber. I just watched some YouTube videos and then tried this drain auger and it worked with no problems. I'm glad I don't have to call a plumber for a small clog in the line. Its steel spring snake is much easier to thread through the pipe. It's easy to push and pull the pipe. It has a very thick cord that can squeeze through a clogged drain. I love its dual mode which I've tried in both…

Pros
  • Hand or motor operation: Attach any standard drill bit to the auger for increased cleaning power and labor savings! You can also rotate the drum manually using the spin knob if you don't have or don't want to use a drill.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
