🏠 Dream Lighting 12V LED RV Interior Light: Black Shell Ceiling Downlight - Warm White, Switch-Operated Fixture Review

We were renovating an old camper van and wanted brighter lighting in the truck cab and this was perfect for our needs. It's 12v and we were able to plug it straight into the same power source as the original skylight, it's a lot brighter, uses less power and I love the dimmer feature too, especially the ability to set a specific level of brightness and have it always come back on the same level. Looks great, works well, would definitely buy again.

This light is very bright! I'm a lighting designer by training and I have to admit that I wasn't expecting much for the price (I was wrong, the result is fantastic). As others have said, it defaults to "off" when it loses power. So make sure you plug it in with constant power and within range so you can hit the on button when you need light. My husband replaced two of the same size 8.5" fluorescent bulbs in our old Roadtrek with these. Pros: You're skinny - hooray! blue - wow! When the camper is connected to the air conditioner, the white light flickers - what? You have to turn them on at full power to stop the flickering. Then they are much brighter than we want. Love the look, the blue light, the flush mount (no more head banging), love the low battery LED indicator. Illuminates the sleeping/dining area of our old RoadTrek van very well. When we use it in a paddock (dry storage), it works great in all three modes: blue night light, full or dimmed. I used two of these to replace the headlights on my Airstream Argosy Menuet 20" 1978. Very easy to replace old Airstream style bulbs.
