Toggle switches break instantly (two pairs)

According to my grandson the boots look and feel great but the buckle to tighten the boots breaks on the first pull. I thought it was an accident first time bad pair so I started with a refund/replacement and after getting a new pair I tried the toggle switch again and the same thing happened. It violates. I don't use force, I just pull with my thumb and forefinger. That's why I'm sending them back. Too bad, I really wanted them to work. Now I also have the inconvenience of driving 22 miles to…

I bought these for my 9 year old and 5 year old kids. I am very dissatisfied with the quality! When we took the boots out to put on my 5 year old to see if they fit, the part at the end of the cord (lock ball stop) broke when we untied them, they fitted fine but he often complained about that they heavily had stumbled over them. Ordered 13 for my daughter who is now wearing a 12. Sent them back as they are too small and the hard rubber socks cut into her toes when walking.
