Replace the exact same tool. A speed. Cuts metal and wood.

I bought this unit to replace the exact same tool. I have had another for many years. I'm guessing the first one took about 10-12 years or so. Eventually he started making a noise and vibrating heavily. I looked around for parts and took it apart, then found an inexpensive new one with accessories and figured it would be less of a hassle. I use mine for cutting wood in interior decorating. Although I still use it more on metal. I work on cars and have used it to cut off screw heads and cut…

Pros
  • Lightweight design for comfort during extended use
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works exactly as advertised, would definitely recommend.

I bought this Dremel rotary tool for resin, wood, stone and glass (jewelry making) work. It works very well as advertised, comes with all accessories. A few things to mention that might be helpful for people considering buying this: - It only has one speed (as advertised) but it falls somewhere between fast and slow haha. For example I bought this to replace my Dremel Minimite 750 which had 2 speeds and I would say this one is closer to fast than slow. Perfect for my purposes but just wanted to

Pros
  • Speed controller for 35,000 RPM continuous
Cons
  • Damaged

Ideal for beginners

I've wanted a Dremel for a long time, although I only need one every ten years or so. When repairing old furniture that I had patched with plastic, I found I had to sand and shape the patches I made. Finally, I couldn't find any reason not to get it. I went for the cheapest model I could find, which is this one. Attaching the attachments was a bit of a hassle with the included small wrench, but not bad once I figured out how to use it. Luckily the wrench has a hole in the middle so I can tie it

Pros
  • Cooled ball bearing for smooth and quiet operation
Cons
  • Doubt
