Great polisher, the best in power tool parts and accessories

Great polisher. The new EZ-Lock mechanism makes it easy to put on and take off. I gave it a 4 instead of 5 because it seems to wear out quickly. You have 30 seconds to a minute of continuous buffing before it wears out.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Well made and comfortable

Dremel products continue to be of excellent quality. Delivery was quick and the item was well packaged. Works with the new cordless Dremel tool. The EZ-Lock feature is very useful and handy for those of us who are starting to get arthritis in our hands.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Weight

Handy Dandy: Polishing Pads

I really like these masters. They have decent durability, hold securely on the mandrel with no chance of flying off anywhere, and they're certainly comfortable. I use them on metal for custom work with razors and knives.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Unreliable

Finally an improved Dremel buffing wheel

I love that Dremel have finally released the EZ Lock buffing wheel! It's a million times better than the cheap little wheels that mount through that stupid screw post they give you. My only criticism of this buff is that only two layers of cotton are used. The wheel needs to be twice as dense, otherwise it's great and behaves like a benchtop polishing wheel, only much smaller.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • drill kit

Automatic polishing chargeable

At first I was very happy with this add-on tool for the Dremel Rotary. It uses the EZ Lock system, which isn't that easy in real life, so much so that Dremel introduced another new system for changing tools. As for the job it's designed for, this buffer is buffing, but its multiple layers pick up dirt really quickly, and even if you soak it in detergent overnight you're really never going to clean the thing again, and you can am end picking up dirt around your project. For me it's just not…

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • flimsy

Fairly effective but not very durable

I wanted to clean up my coin collection so I decided to use this wheel along with the red polish that Dremel sells. noticed that the coins became much brighter after polishing. This bit was quite fast and could run quite fast even at low speeds. However, after about 15 minutes of polishing, I noticed that all sides of the blade were black and the white circles were heavily curved. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't very durable. If you're using it for small things like coins, you also…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not bad but...
