Description of 🧹 High-Quality Dremel 537-02 Brass Brushes (2 Pack), 1/8" – Efficient Cleaning Tool!

Ideal for cleaning and surface-finishing items made from gold, bronze, copper or brass. Use a brass brush to create a soft, satin or matte finish. Very effective on flat surfaces and in hard-to-reach areas like slots (brass wire is non-sparking and softer than steel). Great for cleaning.

Getting into tight spaces

I was cleaning an old bike and was having trouble getting the wheel and tapered brass brushes into tight spaces. It was just the thing to remove rust on a motorcycle. Featured!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • No instructions

Flying bristles work best on power tools and hand tools

I used the brushes to polish a worn (with some rust) golf club. Copper bristles flew all over the place when I placed the brush on the wand. Overall it got the job done to an extent, but I thought the flying bristles were a health and safety hazard and a nuisance. USE EYE PROTECTION!

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Useless features

Item delivered on time as described

The purpose of purchasing these brass brushes (option 1) was to remove calcified leaking battery corrosion at the bottom of the battery tube in a pair of Steiner Commando RS 2000 marine binoculars that had been in use for too long lying on the shelf without checking the condition of the battery.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Easy to repair

Dremel for victory.

I bought this and similar stainless steel brushes to remove paint and rust (stone chips on the hood). Unlike stainless steel brushes, they left minimal marks on the base metal. Not as aggressive, but still very useful. As always, the Dremel brand accessories seem to last longer than cheaper knockoffs.

Pros
  • Impressive

  • Not bad but...

Just lucky - power tool

I was just lucky. About the brush. It was long enough to attach to my drill and reach the bottom of the igniter battery box on my grill. The distal contact got wet (between the grill lids, my bad one) and corroded so much that the contact broke. A quick polish later and I saved thirty bucks on a new igniter and at least spent all day taking the grill apart enough to take the old one out and put the new one in. Thanks to the YouTube guy who showed me the trick. and relieved me of grief. The…
