Defective on arrival for rotary tools

This tool was disabled on arrival. I have no idea why it won't turn on. The battery is charged and I tried another identical battery that I know works but this tool still didn't work. I am very dissatisfied with this purchase and will be returning it.

Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Switch won't turn on after 2 or 3 years

I have 8100 to sharpen dog claws. After 2 or 3 years the switch became finicky and wouldn't turn on without toggling it on and off a few times. Now 5 years later I have to smack him on the edge of the table and he barely comes to life. I think it's time to buy a new one, but next time I might try a different brand.

Cons
  • weak

After just a few hours of polishing, the Dremmel was out of balance unless running at maximum speed. The lower 2 or 3 speed levels vibrate so unbearably that they damage the part to be ground or polished. Forcing them to run at maximum speed resulted in significant reductions in run time and faster burn through or damage to part surfaces. I believe it was the motor that was internally unbalanced as neither the shaft nor the shaft are bent or damaged. I would not recommend this Dremmel…

Cons
  • No Power
