Dremel EZ402 EZ Lock Mandrel Review

This is very handy when polishing with a Dremel and I think it will be useful in other cases as well. Basically, you just pull the cuff down, insert the two little wings into the instrument, and put the cuff back in place. It locks well and securely, I had no problems up to 7000 rpm. It's much better to break the wrench every time you want to change the grit of the polishing wheel. I recommend.

I needed a replacement part for the kit I bought that had a lot of discs and one of those EX holders. The kit was at a good price but it was impossible to just buy a spare mandrel. I hesitated between buying two sets or just buying the second mandrel. In the end I just didn't want to spend too much for so many bits and just paid an insane amount for an extra spike. Yes, I'll probably regret it in a year when my CDs run out.

They definitely speed up the blade change. With a traditional system, if you don't keep the blade completely flush with the cut, the blade will either bind or break. This adapter allows the blade to keep cutting even if you can't get the Dremil to line up exactly with the cut you are making. This is very useful, especially when making cuts in hard-to-reach places.

When I first started using a Dremel, I didn't realize how easily a cutting blade could break. Also, I didn't realize I had to apply even pressure when cutting with the Dremel, so I messed up the mandrel as well. I had to make the decision to drive all the way to the Home Depot during rush hour or order it from Revain and get it the next day.
