Cute freewheel for lectric XP

This freewheel is cute. I installed it on my lectric xp. Driving up the steep SF hills made things a little easier. 7th gear is higher, so 6th is like my old 7th gear. You should get this if you live in a steep hill area!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Only available in black

Works well and corresponds to the description.

This is exactly what I wanted. My original freehub had a 34 tooth 1st gear, but the bottom 3 were tight and I wanted a shorter gear. While the 11 teeth on the 7th wheel is fairly low, it works on the flats and descents for that extra speed. It vibrates more than the Shimano it replaces, but those are apparently just manufacturing tolerances. This is a compromise.

Pros
  • While satisfied
Cons
  • The list will be long.

weak metal; not for medium rims

Worked great, loved the 11-34T gearing but it's WEAK METAL! It might work for hub motors and/or pedaling but my bafang bbshd mid drive motor is breaking teeth on this thing and I've only done a couple of rides in 2 days. For some level of reference. It's weaker than the freewheel that originally came with the $200 Walmart Mongoose bike, which has been used a lot more and has all its teeth left.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Capacity

Easy installation, good value for money.

Pretty basic insulation on the GT Stomper Pro 24". No need to add chain length, just adjust the derailleur so it doesn't hit the new big gear. Now the kid can ride hills that couldn't were before.I wanted a shimano version but it was out of stock for a couple of weeks so decided to try these. The quality and fit are great no complaints bike before thing breaks.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Protection

Good product, 1st and 2nd gears are too far apart

The product works well and gave me the extra top speed I was looking for over my original 14-28 ton freewheel. I just wish the spread between 1st and 2nd gear wasn't so big. They go from 34 to 24 and it's hard to climb. 28th would be the best 2nd gear. The gear spread between 2nd and 4th gear is almost negligible. I can't say anything about wear resistance yet, I've only driven about 100 km. It's slightly louder than Shimano when not pedaling.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

It doesn't wear off well and fluctuates throughout the gear range.

I saw a few other reviews from people saying it was wobbly or broken but thought it might have been a manufacturing fault which has since been fixed. Well, I was wrong, after installing the overrunning clutch dangled a lot. I couldn't adjust the shifter because it would jump or bounce on one half of the freewheel when it was working correctly on one half of the freewheel. I would suggest looking elsewhere for the freewheel mechanism. 11-34 seems super appetizing, but this thing sucks. I return…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Works great, others should have cross threads.

An excellent upgrade over the standard 14-28 ton Shimano hitch. I mounted it on my son's 24" MTB. It's a bit heavier but the extra reach (especially the 34t climbing gear) for my son is really amazing. Now I can take it to harder trails and it will be much closer to the gear range of its next "real" 26" MTB. Spins and shifts great with Shimano Atlus 7 speed shifters and Tourney shifters. As for other users who complain of wobble, I assume they definitely over-torqued the freehub when screwing…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Perfect fit for Lectric XP e-bike.

If you're serious about having more pedal power on your Lectric XP e-bike, this is a must-have upgrade. The 11-tooth gearing is essential to allow you to reliably and consistently increase pedal effort on anything over PAS 2 (18-13 mph). This has increased my range significantly as I can actually add significant pedal power on the PAS 3 (15-18 mph). Before the update, the PAS 3 was pulling out a good 18+ amps and quickly draining the battery on long rides. After the upgrade, pedaling can keep…
