This worked great and made the perfect hole around the new shower.

This worked great and made the perfect hole around the new shower valve. Draw and cut a hole in a piece of thin plywood and hold or clamp it over the tile to guide and hold the hole saw in place for the first cut. Carefully pour water over the saw as it cuts the tiles. It only takes a few seconds and does a professional job.

Pros
  • Hole saws and accessories
Cons
  • No power

Don't buy a good one for hole saws

Only made one hole plus 30 minutes - not much diamond dust compared to other bits I've ordered that run away compared to this junk. And yes I had the tank filled with water the whole time, I made the next hole with a grinder and made the round hole 1/2 inch smaller, it took the same amount of time (maybe less) to do it with a grinder machine -- a square hole would work and take less time -- but I wanted to see if I could make a round hole -- do not purchase this item

Pros
  • Electric drill parts and accessories
Cons
  • Very expensive

Another tile I bought from Lowe worked better. The tile often broke while I was cutting it, resulting in the loss of a large amount of the tile. Before using the drill I made a template on a piece of plywood of the same diameter so it can't move while drilling. I drilled slowly and used lots of…
