Not suitable for honing/sharpening chisels

Used on a chisel grinder. Surface cracked on first use. I haven't had a problem with ridges on the bottom grain. The lower grits still work well.

You corrupted my project. it took me more time than the money they saved

These 3000 grinding wheels could not be used. Instead of polishing the surface, they left deep gouges on my project. It happened so fast I didn't have time to react. Don't buy those cheap tables, it will cost you more time than money saved. :-((((

but definitely not for sharpening steel blades

I have and use the 1200 grit version to sharpen my woodworking tools. My wife bought the 3000 grit version, the diamond grit cut off completely on first contact with the chisel! Can be good for polishing stones, but definitely not good for sharpening steel blades.
