I needed to cut some 4" holes in a new data cabinet and this pup did it like a badger in heat. The edge at the tip of the drill prevents it from breaking or falling into the hole. The spring helps with final penetration. Binding and pinching was very minor, and when it was, it could be remedied. Overall a great device and worth the money.

I have been very pleased with the performance of the 2-5/16" carbide tipped hole saw! I had to make 4 holes for the position lights on my vintage race car trailer that I am renovating. I have it in an old 1/ 2" hand drill motor used. All holes are drilled very straight. The center drill worked great and didn't allow the saw to wander. The metal was 14 gauge steel, about a little over 1/16" thick. The hole saw still looks new. It was shipped in a protective plastic case with an Allen key for the

This is by far the best hole saw I have owned in the last 50 years. The only drawback is the quality control. ONE!] hole the set screw fell out. At least the screw kindly waited for the drill to stop. So be sure to check the set screws before use. I drilled a small reset onto the shaft so the set screw doesn't just sit on a flat surface. Then tighten both screws as tight as possible. more than 10 holes drilled with 0 [ZERO] problems. Hence it gets a 5 star rating, unlike other carbide tipped…
