Very happy with drill bit

I ordered a 2 1/2" drill bit to drill some holes in concrete block walls for installing air conditioning refrigerant lines. Considering the price I expected it would probably work but would be slow.. and probably disposable after 2 holes. I also ordered a masonry center drill, thinking it would help start the drill in a more controlled way. Easy way to pierce cinder block

I needed to run a 4 inch exhaust through my garage wall for ventilation and paid to rent the equipment and this was a much cheaper alternative. My garage wall is pretty basic. You need to buy an adapter for this bit separately as it is not included. I bought the adapter at the same time as this racquet, the cost was about $10. Okay, now for the drilling. I had to drill through a cinder block in my garage, and when I tried, the bit "bounced" a lot, even at my bit's very low speeds. So how to fix

Solution: This bit with adapter [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DHJK9JS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1] and 9 A Chicago Electric 1/2" D-handle drill bit. This is a rotary drill, NOT a hammer drill. I started by drilling a 1/4" hole from the inside so I knew exactly where to…
