This beeswax based product is a good conditioner. This will make the thread stronger and easier to thread through the needle. I sometimes have trouble getting the flow through different parts of my serger and this makes the flow that much more enjoyable and less frustrating. Sometimes I see double and it also helps me thread my sewing machine. Waxing is quick and easy. A holder or applicator will help apply the wax to the thread.

The product shown is white and translucent. I used to order plain yellow beeswax and it forms a yellow crust on my sewing thread that scratches my fabric when embroidering. I had problems with the thread twisting and not lying flat. This was very frustrating as I had to remove the template from the lap stand to allow the protector to unwrap.
