Good Replacement: Home Audio

Requires small fingers to change these belts. But after an exchange, my old Sony multi disc player was brought back to life.

Replacement belts work the same as the original

Look for a replacement video. Remove all discs. Remove cover. Use dental tools to remove old belts and put on new ones. (There isn't much room for fingers!)

CD player as good as new after belt replacement

Replacing these tapes requires disassembling the Sony CD player. To access the pulleys on the back of the device, you must remove the top cover and back panel. Not difficult but requires some maintenance skills. Belts could be put on easily after dismantling. The entire repair took less than an hour.

  • If your CD player does not work or is making noises, in most cases it is due to the two drive belts.
