Works great and fast!

I have several USB CF card readers and this one is the fastest due to the USB-C connection and a laptop that supports it. Definitely 5 stars.

Ideal for compact flash cards

Very simple plug and play. Has a USB-C connector. Just pop a compact flash drive into the slot and Windows 10 will read it instantly. Featured!

Very disappointing product that froze my computer

You might think a card reader would be a bargain, but not in this case. I bought these and plugged them in for the first time only to get a message saying my card could not be read and needed to be scanned. So I did, assuming it was a one-time issue - WRONG - every time I plug this reader in it either asks for a media scan, doesn't get recognized, or has the computer beeping the entire time like it's constantly on - and unplug! Thought it was the drivers I tried updating them but Windows said…
