In contrast to the PX-100, Senh PX-100 does not meet the standards set by its sole serious competitor.
- The audio is not yet ideal; it is lovely, but not suitable for everyone.
60 Ohm impedance and low sensitivity mean this product is noticeably quieter than the competition.
- Depending on the owner's preferences, the folding mechanism's design may or may not be functional. It can be rolled up into a ball, relatively speaking.
- Poor construction; the ear cushions wear out soon, the hinge that connects the ear to the headband breaks, and the plastic sleeves that allow the halves to move and face each other wear out quickly. Before trying the PX-100, I went through all of this, even getting them fixed and reconditioned.
The same muffs that break apart, which is a problem for those like me who have huge heads and lopsided ears, also exert pressure on the top of the head, which is uncomfortable after a while. However, when folded, the half-headband's hook snags on the ear, making it practically a novelty.
Last but not least, there is no soundproofing, just like with real ears.
