I used this in shore diving (SCUBA) to hold the car key for our rental. It was waterproof and worked great. It used to be much better when I used old camera bags. I have used this device up to 35 feet. The material is high quality metal, double o-rings, lots of threads for a great seal, a good hole in the lid for attachment and it comes with some silicon to manage the o-ring. Really good product.
