It could be an issue with the app using the scanner, but the only solution I've found is to disable and then enable the scanner. Also, the actual product, although Motorola technology, is branded as a symbol product; Product description and images must reflect this. Use of a Motorola-branded scanner image may be misleading.

Bought 2 of these for our POS and they work great. Automatically wakes up when you move in front of the scanner and it reads barcodes very easily.
