Works great with my IOS device

Works great with my IOS device. I downloaded the HM10 Bluetooth Serial Lite app and connected with no problems. I wanted to create custom buttons, so I bought the professional version. There's probably another application that could do the same thing, but whatever. Anyway it works fine. I will buy more.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Good product for computers and accessories

Had problems with AT commands, couldn't get them to work, emailed the supplier and got good support. AT commands refused and tried to connect to LightBlue via BLE and everything worked great. Would have been 5 stars if the AT commands worked, but as this was just for testing I'm happy with the product.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • No

Works. I tested it with Arduino and iPhone 6 Plus and was able to connect and send/receive serial data. They suggest you use an app called "LightBlue" to connect, but I've found many other serial bluetooth apps on the app store that worked much better.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Pretty cool for what it is

This is a pretty cool little device. I use it to control code path execution on Arduino controllers. This allows me to use an iOS device to change the colors and patterns of the ws2182 LEDs and control things like stepper motors with the push of a button. Not very difficult to use. If you're looking to try adding wireless serial communication to your programmable microcontroller projects, then this is a pretty good option.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons

Good work. Connected to Xilinx ZC702 Zynq.

Works well. I connected it to a Xilinx ZC702 Zynq board. I was able to talk to him via UART, but initially I couldn't connect via Bluetooth. It required some additional adjustments by setting the unlock type to TYPE1 and changing the password to 123456. After making these changes, I was able to connect via Bluetooth. I used the bluetooth serial terminal from the google play store to communicate with the ZC702 board.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Good but not great

This is a good little module that connects properly to the breadboard. It's easy to plug in and turn on. You can connect it to the Arduino's RX/TX serial connection and send/receive information between the Arduino and the included Android app (DSD Tech Bluetooth). I've never used a Bluetooth LE device, so initially I had trouble getting other apps. work with it, especially with MIT AppInventor. I finally found out that these BLE devices don't work like normal Bluet devices. Not only do you need

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Volume
