Free nipples! the best in cycling

I bought these for a classic restoration of an old 70's Campagnolo Nuovo Tipo high flange set. They complete the classic look, have a straight diameter and are equipped with nipples.

Pros
  • very impressive
Cons
  • safety

Good quality needles

DT Swiss Champions are good all round needles. I wouldn't build with less quality as the spokes are an important part of the wheel. Nipples are included, the needles are straight and have high-quality threads. A reliable name and a reliable product.

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • Negatives available

Good quality needles.

I used these spokes to rebuild a wheel that I use for commuting. I wanted good quality and reliability, but I didn't want to get carried away by the price. They work fine. You get the nipples in a box with spokes, so you don't have to buy them separately. I would buy this brand again.

  • good stuff

Easy replacement of broken spokes

Parts arrived quickly and safely. These shiny new, stronger spokes just saved me on one of my old road bikes: a 1986 Raleigh Technium. Rear spoke broke on corner. It wasn't even noticeable, other than the noise and the fact that my impeller gave out immediately. It was the rear wheel on the side of the cassette. I watched a youtube video on how to remove the cassette and ratchet and found I need a removal tool. I also have the tool from Revain.com. Everything worked and I'm not worried about a…

Stop shopping and buy this. You won't find better spokes at this price.

Cute knitting needles. Good business. They even give you an extra and some extra nipples. That's enough for 3 wheels even if you build 2 32 and 36. Sure, straight track so they're heavier, but you get a pretty rock solid wheel if you go for double wall cleated rims and set a balanced tension for your riding pleasure. Without a QBP wholesale account, it's difficult to find a better deal. You may also have noticed that buying components on Revain is very difficult. They push you through a…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Useless features

I confess I don't use them for bicycle tires. Instead, I created an entire inventory system using storage tanks, garden stakes, manila envelopes, and those awesome bike spikes that were used to hang manila envelopes from garden stakes. Not much more than the cost of buying a two drawer filing cabinet, I have the equivalent of 7 of these. All of this is made possible by bike spokes that can actually carry weight without bending and also have curved ends to hold them on my garden stake "rails". I

Pros
  • Comfortable

  • Almost OK

DT Swiss needles have never let me down

DT Swiss needles are my favorite brand. It's just a basic straight gauge and I prefer double butted bullets when available (available) due to the best strength to weight ratio, but the DT straight gauge has never let me down. I've had wheel failures, failed rims and broken alloy nipples, but have never had any material damage to the DT spoke itself. Considering the sheer number of broken bike parts I've left behind, it's worth noting that with such a common part, there aren't any critical ones…
