Ready On Arrival - Hard Drive Enclosure

First, it didn't work. Blue lights are hard to see. Using a magnifying glass, I could see that the first two lights were lit before I started trying out the clone. Pressing Clone for 4-60 seconds didn't blink any lights. They left it in the hope that the cloning function would work, but it just got really hot. An attempt via USB also failed. The PC could see the drive but not the inserted SSD. I ended up creating a recovery USB flash drive and formatting the new drive that way.

Doesn't work with all M.2 NVMe drives

I bought it mainly to extract data from a SAMSUNG M.2 NVMe drive that was installed on my sister's PC . Unfortunately it didn't read/recognize the drive, but it did recognize another Crucial M.2 NVMe drive. I returned this device as it was not 100% reliable, especially given the cost and infrequent use.

It clones Nvme drives

That's why I bought it, I have other clone devices that work with HDD, SSD, M.2 etc. Now there is this thing for Nvme drives. It gets warm, but it does its job well. I have cloned several Nvme drives with it. No problem.

Garbage. Worked once, overheating stops working

Scrap. Worked once, cloned 256 to 256, device got so hot it burned my fingers picking it up. I turned it off and left it on for a while, tried using it again and it won't turn on, but still works. get very hot. I suspect that if you leave it on it will start a fire after a while. Be careful with the buyer.

Hot Hot Hot Hot

This solved the problem of having to access nvme m.2 drives when all my motherboard slots were full. It works fine on the fly, but it requires an external power connector and doesn't just work with USB-C, at least for me using all the USB-Cs I have on my devices, the ones on my M1 Mac Mini and on my x570 pg velocita were motherboard. Not Working Defective

Purchased this item to upgrade m.2 NVME SSD drive without having to redo all OS, configurations etc. This item is small. tiny. Too small. about half the size of the SSD box it came in. I followed the guide and it didn't work. looked on youtube and the reviewer said it was picky. I tried this method of waiting a minute or two after turning on the device to hold the clone button. This one just works well for imaging and cloning. Many don't.

I have purchased several MFG models in the last 18 months. At the moment it has the best compatibility and speed. NVMe enclosures are difficult because of the complex host controller environment they set up to access drives. I regularly use Macrium Reflect software to back up these drives to an image file. Works perfectly! - Computers and Accessories

I bought this because my colleagues and I need to upgrade our M.2 hard drives on our computers at work and really don't want to reinstall everything. I used this as a cone device to clone our 256GB drives to new 1TB drives. It worked as advertised and the clone only took 2 minutes.
