    Does exactly what it needs

    Of course you can build your own VGA dummy with a few resistors and cheaper. But it's still cheap and does exactly what it's supposed to do with less work and exposed hardware.

    Works as advertised.

    Homemade PFSense router would not boot without display connected. A firmware update might have fixed it, but the updater was windows only and buying it was a lot more profitable for me than spinning wheels trying to bypass it. Works as advertised.

    Works great!: HDMI to VGA adapter

    Got this for the VGA port on a headless PC working as a server. This tricks the computer into believing that a monitor is connected when in fact there isn't one. There are many resolutions to choose from, the highest I can see is 2048 x 1536 but I chose 1920 x 1080 and it's fine. The PC has a GeForce 6150SE chipset on the motherboard, runs Windows 7 64-bit and uses Chrome Remote Desktop.

    will not fit standard VGA connector

    Bought based on reviews and found it does not fit standard VGA connector. I've tried it on 2 Supermicro motherboards (ITX and ATX) and it didn't fit either, which makes me wonder if there are different sizes of VGA adapters?

    Great for remote control

    Great plug for computer than needed. I'm controlling the server remotely and the video card won't output video without a monitor. I didn't see anything when trying to connect remotely. This plugin solved this problem with a simple plug and play.

    Works as stated.

    Works great. I needed to run my cryptocurrency mining rigs from my garage, but I didn't want to connect a monitor to it. I have used remote software (view command) and this device worked great. If you don't have this set, you won't be able to display a screen with Team Viewer because Mobo doesn't output a screen signal.
