The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I bought the player in the DUNE store (). There were doubts that the sound on the receiver (Yamaha RX-V1800) would work, the store seller suggested checking it at home, and said that if something didn’t work, it would be possible to return it - I bought it without hesitation. No return needed. Solid packaging. In general, the purchase is very satisfied.

Pros
  • Separate 4K image output to the TV and sound to the old generation receiver (without 4K support). I like that nothing has changed in the management and interface for 11 years, during which I used DUNE HD DUO. Accurate audio sync. If you turn on the sound on the TV and receiver, then there is no desynchronization at all. On the other player, there was a barely noticeable sound delay on the receiver. Shows films of any size over the network. Remote control with backlight
Cons
  • There are films in online cinemas on which the prefix freezes, only a reboot helps. For example, in KINOPOISK, the film "Founder" hangs on . The sound goes to the AUDIO ONLY output in DTS HD MA, if you specify HDMI sound in the settings, if you set it to SPDIF, the receiver shows that it receives simple DTS. (It is not clear from the descriptions and settings), but I do not change that I need a digital stream. If on the set-top box itself the sound is completely removed to zero, then it will disappear on the receiver, it will be quiet. When it happened for the first time, I did not immediately understand what had happened. Again, what is the relationship between the volume on the console of the set-top box and the digital stream? (in my opinion overdone) I don’t understand under what circumstances, but rarely the picture disappears and a black screen appears, for half a second . I didn’t understand what it was? Dorogova then . in my opinion.

I like everything, the price and quality are acceptable.

Powerful processor, 99% omnivorous - turns everything that gets into it. Gigabit LAN port - very fast data exchange, the channel width allows you to push through any video stream. Support for all formats, including Dolby Vision. Great cataloger - downloads posters and descriptions from movie file names, displaying them in the list. The percentage of viewing is also displayed in the list (new firmware, still alpha). There are also some disadvantages. In the audio output format, Bitstream does…

Pros
  • Support 99% of all formats Powerful processor Stuffed with interfaces - there is everything
Cons
  • Some audio and video formats are not supported HDD won't sleep

The right product for me, there were no problems.

In general, the purchase is very satisfied. Bought to watch movies on OledTV. Therefore, it is not necessary to switch much. And from the consoles, the 5th point does not light up. Has some pros: Omnivorous. Supports all formats today. And squeezes the maximum out of the files. Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, etc. The media player built into the TV, of course, cannot do this. Good equipment. Very compact. Has cons: Didn't like the Bluetooth remote. Compact and convenient, but the buttons can only be

Bad! I am not satisfied with the quality of the product.

I have been using the device for over two months. Works in tandem with Synology DS218 (so I haven't used the internal drive yet). Previously used mi box 3 with the same network drive. Basically I will compare with the previous device. I use the prefix exclusively for watching movies from a network drive + photos from a drive + YouTube, as a result, the use of the functionality is extremely limited. I decided to change the mi box, because I was not satisfied with the speed of work, plus the box

Pros
  • - easy setup - smart interface - clock on display
Cons
  • - expensive - cumbersome - inconvenient remote control (both, both large and small) - strange sound control (changing the volume, for a split second the volume disappears altogether) - unstable work (2 freezes in 2 months of use)

Nice product, happy with my purchase and may buy again.

The experience of using the model is small, but certain sensations have developed. I assumed the usefulness of Android 9, or rather the usefulness of the Google Play application - it turned out to be neutered. There are only applications adapted for the console. Theoretically, nothing prevents you from connecting a BT keyboard and mouse and using the device as a full-fledged PC, especially since the characteristics allow it. The remote with the cursor, the one that is small, has a strange…

Pros
  • An interesting strict compact design, the ability to install a large-capacity disk and the omnivorous formats are captivating. In theory - bought, configured, use. Remotes with voice recognition are convenient, but you need to get used to their responsiveness after LG's smart remote, which, by the way, is 2 in 1. The operating system loads quickly and, which pleases, opens on the last open application, and not on the main screen or desktop like in Windows.
Cons
  • 1. Connecting the remote control is a separate quest, I recommend immediately buying normal batteries, and not using the ones that are included. At first I thought that I was a fool myself, but no, just someone (manufacturer or seller) slipped "rotten" batteries, while the light on the remote blinked. It is also not clear why it was necessary to fence a garden of two remotes, if all options can be implemented on one. 2. Software - YouTube only works from the TV Applications folder, it doesn’t work from the main screen, it starts up more precisely, the main screen appears, you try to start the video and in response to the β€œDune black rectangle”, despite ating to the latest version of everything that is possible - firmware , operating systems, programs, etc. 3. Separately, I had to deal with the sound settings, because of which YouTube was dumb. For some reason the default sound output settings are not "Auto". 4. When watching a YouTube video in 4K quality, the frame rate of a Sharp 60'' TV drops to 24 fps. Sadness.
