    Removes bad taste from water

    I live with many purified water drinkers and prefer to drink tap water. Dupont is great at removing aftertaste from water!

    Good filtration, heavy design

    I wanted this filter to filter out the chlorine taste. It works well. The design is a little heavy, easy to shed. Filtering is also slow. Design issues aside, it works great

    was it worth paying for a more expensive model It takes hours to filter multiple cups of water, the lid doesn't fit the top of the jug, and the filter is too small for the size of the device very heavy.

    We love DuPont water jugs so much we bought three of them. They are very well made and look quite pretty on the kitchen table. The mugs are also much more affordable than other brands.

    Great product great price

    The only problem I have is the tiny spout cover keeps falling off so I keep mine. Anyone planning to do this should just be careful what they put on the shelf above the pitcher or something could drip into that little hole. The tap water where I live is terrible and I've always refused to drink it, but this jug makes it clean and refreshing. At this price I can only recommend it.

    I like the size and look of this item, but the filter itself is not always sturdy. I have to soak the filter for a few hours to get two decent uses out of it. If I don't do this, the water will filter for literally hours, or it won't filter at all until I soak the filter in water again. I've always used filters and never had this problem.

    SOLVES MANY PROBLEMS!

    Solves so many problems for me! This pitcher eliminates bottled water and the need to boil it for my husbands. It is reassuring to know that he uses safe water in his feeding tube which he has been using for about 2 years due to cancer and other health issues. I no longer have to worry about lugging bottled water from the garage to our apartment and the extra expenses.
