Unfortunately over the last few months I've had to throw away about 10 packs of Duracell AA AAA C&D batteries, mostly bought in 2015 and 2016 and with an expiration date of 2021 The problem is that they start to acid to lose in the still wrapped packaging. Terrible! I went to check why my flashlight stopped working and found that these batteries were leaking battery acid throughout the battery compartment! I rarely had battery acid leaks from batteries and when I did it was because it was old and accidentally left in the product. However, I bought these Duracell batteries on March 29th and today is April 11th (same year) and have only used them 3 times. I will attach photos so you can see it was leaking from the bottom of the battery on the right

Batteries were not shown to me. Instead I received dark gray ones with PROCELL on them but without the Duracell trademark. At the bottom of the box is the name Duracell in small print along with the words "Not for Retail Sale". And there's no guarantee if they're bought at retail (like Revain). They last about 2/3 - maximum - of the usual batteries I use, including the genuine yellow Duracell PROCELLs I've used before. These are clearly cheap Duracell generics intended for mass commercial…
