Description of DURATECH Pattern Combination 5 Piece Vanadium

Heat treated Chrome Vanadium Steel and polished surface ensure durability and resistance to corrosion. The professional-grade, high-polish finish lets you easily wipe away gunk and grease, preparing them for the next job at hand. Extra-long handle design offers an extended reach, allowing you to work easily in tight spots. Precision 12-point box end allows easy fastener engagement without slippage and prevents fastener round-off. The box ends on all of our combination wrenches feature a 15° offset. This helpful feature adds just enough clearance so you can securely grip the wrench without busting your knuckles – also letting you apply more torque to the fastener you’re working on. 5 Pieces high quality wrenches that exceeds ANSI standard. We selected the sizes you will need most often: 1", 1-1/16", 1-1/8", 1-3/16", 1-1/4" combination wrenches. Surface laser marking for easy identification. The spanner kit comes with a premium roll-up pouch for easy organization and convenient storage. They roll up neatly in an organizer bag for storage in your car trunk or mechanics gear. Ideal for use with large equipment, including farm equipment, tractor trailers, graders and cement trucks.

Impressive price!

For the money I'm very impressed! We'll see in time, but again at a price to complain about. They look and feel better than I expected. A decent cover too. I have them on my service truck as a backup set.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Not bad

Check the Enid key box

The keys look good but I assume there is no quality control. 2 keys in the set are useless. The ends of the box aren't round and don't even fit the screw. I give them back to Revane

  • This is amazing

I've only used them a little. They are huge!

They're huge. Maybe I should have looked for short wrenches. They look well made and although I haven't used them to test them they are nice and solid. I suspect they might also come in handy if you happen to encounter a brown bear.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • So far so good

Good deal at $30 Best power and hand tool

I lost my 27mm wrench and my 23mm price for this set with pouch was about the same as buying just two sizes that I need. They aren't snapon quality, they're artisan and husky quality. I used them to replace ball joints and control arms on my Yukon. worked as it should and didn't bend under torque.

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Expensive

Decent wrenches for the price

Thought I'd give these a try as the price is right. So far I'm not disappointed. The chrome finish on these keys is very nice and they feel good in your hand. You can tell this is an inexpensive tool by stamping on the end of the box wrench. The teeth are slightly rounded. The end of the box works, but I'm not sure it will hold up to extreme use. Overall, they are comparable to branded tools like Husky, Craftsman, Kobalt, etc. It looks like they have a lifetime warranty but I'm not sure how you

Allow me to finally renovate my laundry!

Well, in my old laundry room there is something of a Rube Goldberg collection of odd sizes and types, most of which are over 50 years old. Galvanized iron pipe, brass fittings, weird adapters and such, but no breaks in the flushing water line! I had some good corner stops ready to install, but it turned out that removing the existing faucet and adapters would require LOTS of levers and wrenches, 1 1/8 and up, a long jig for such a lever. This long set of SAE keys saved me! I used a Revain…

  • practical item

  • negative exists

Very nice keys!

I've had all of these sizes in between but they were all from different brands some longer some shorter some good some not so good some modified to work with specific fan clutches or thinner a bit, to get between rebars. My basic set of wrenches ends at 1 inch. Most jumbo sets start at 1-5/16" and go up to 2". -1/16", 1-1/8", 1-3/16" and 1-1/4". They are available individually on a tool trolley at a significant price. Someone at Duratec thought about that. These are very well made wrenches with
