Didn't do as much as I hoped. .

Not as much as I was hoping. Had my whole wrx 2017 dynamized and then added it. the results weren't that impressive. Dynamo alone was enough.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Great stuff in body and trim

Used this to replace some of the muffler in the compartment behind the seats on my 350z. The material is very dense and heavier than you would expect. Worked very well. I can see it would be really great under your rugs too. Worked great and eliminated the drum echo behind my seats.

Think of it like the most expensive 32x54 inch carpet.

I think this is the most expensive 32x54' rug I have ever bought. These are 2 thin sandwiches of open cell foam, 2mm. I want it to be closed cell foam. Overpriced and yet it needs to be proven that it can reduce quiet rumble or rumble. I think it should be half the price or twice the size. get 3-4 stars

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Clarity

Blocks a lot of sound. Easy to cut and apply. Comes without adhesive, but 3M's outdoor double-sided tape can get the job done when it needs to be applied to vertical surfaces. Only 3/8" thick. Watch a video on testing original white fiber (rarely used) and original recycled carpet material (most commonly used).[.]

  • Confident

SAVE YOUR MONEY isolated

Didn't help at all to reduce exhaust noise. I put it all over the trunk hoping it would help reduce the exhaust noise but it didn't help at all. It didn't even help reduce road noise, or at least reduce exhaust rumble. A complete waste of money. If you are considering buying this product to reduce engine noise, look elsewhere and save money. All this product is is an overpriced piece of carpet that does nothing.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons

Mandatory for vehicles with performance exhaust.

I have a Chevrolet C10 that I replaced the LS on and made a custom exhaust for. The exhaust is louder than the stock one, and the old C10's cabin was never designed to muffle noise and vibration. First I installed dynamat throughout the cab and that reduced the rattle and vibration but the exhaust and engine noise was still there. I then added a DynaPad to the floor and transmission tunnel area and it was a huge improvement. I was so impressed with the first use of the DynaPad that I bought…

HUGE DIFFERENCE in annoying noise and heat levels

What I like: Dynapad was only installed in the engine tunnel area and already had a HUGE impact on annoying noise levels. I could neither listen nor speak on the speakerphone beforehand. I only installed the Dynapad in the tunnel area where most of the noise and heat comes from. It made a big difference. I cut and assembled it myself. The carpet is heavy and sits well on the engine tunnel. I don't want to use glue on the carpet as my refurbished BJ40 is notoriously prone to rusting. After all…

Reduces low-frequency road noise.

-- Update -- If you're looking for clear sound, I'd say Dynamate is better on its own. I like that this Dynapad reduces overall cabin noise, but it does muffle the sound a bit. So I bought JKU pods for my Jeep to attach to the rear roll bar and detach the soundbar speakers, which point straight at the ground, where I think most of the sound is just about absorbed. in the Dynapad. The soundbar's speaker placement is definitely unfortunate, but I'm hoping that placing the rear speakers, which…

Best soundproofing for body and fairing

Unlike the Dynamat series which is really only good for high frequency vibrations such as ringing or knocking on metal. Not only is this Dynapad material amazing for the vibrations, but it blocks sound almost completely. Definitely watch their weight, it's very tight and very heavy which is great and that makes the soundproofing possible, but if you're installing the pad on anything other than the floor itself. Heavy duty glue won't be enough to hold it in place. I bought it for the back of my…
