I am a glass artist. I can drill glass. Using a water bath setup I tried to drill a hole through a sheet of glass (about 1.5mm). The ribbon of diamond grit broke in two and fell off the bit before the hole was half-drilled. It took two drill bits to complete the hole and when I finished the second drill bit was useless as well. Very disappointed. But I guess you get what you pay for, right?

I am very happy with the holes I can drill in flat glass. But cooling is very important, I damaged a bit when glass dust accumulated and water couldn't get to the bit. Pros
Large dirt ejection hole, uniform sandy coating, more wear-resistant
