My husband has another tool that makes dovetails. So it became unnecessary. This one was well made and made a great stocking stuffer.

Works Good Accurate But Hard Plastic. I would pay more for brass. I love dovetail cut handouts are GREAT for this and you can still use a router if you want to get the perfect look with big or small pins.

The product has been scratched with burrs and burrs on the side of the work piece which can seriously damage the surface if the buyer is unaware. Also, the measurement marks on the 1:8 side are slightly offset and one side is about 1/32 inch from the other. Not a big deal unless you're using it to make tight fitting, symmetrical dovetails.

Works, but in hindsight I find the adjustable glide angle much more useful. This tool is limited in size, so you can't even mark dovetails that are too big with it. I bought the Shinwa T-Bevel from Amazon for almost the same price and just find it more useful. Your mileage may vary, but I simply suggest that you do your research before purchasing this specialty tool.

Terrible design means you can't draw square lines and angled lines at the same time. So you should get a square and visually align the two lines. Improved markers allow you to draw a square across the fibers and then along the lines of the tail without moving the marker. Also, it is so small that it is unstable when marking half-pen. Almost useless and no better than a tilt sensor. I'll throw mine away and buy a good one.
