Tool kits not accurate

Poor workmanship, tool jams on the joint. The tools were made by hand. I used it once and then gave up. Went and got a real tool.

Well built, not very well designed

Well built and very strong but not very well designed. I couldn't find enough force to squeeze the torso clamp. I tried using two 1/2" breakers but there wasn't enough room when the transmission assembly was installed in the car. Should have used $15 but stainless steel brackets. And that's what I ended up doing. Might work well if you have the transmission on a workbench, but not if you're working under a car.

Sturdy, well made but lacking in design and functionality

After buying a similarly priced, poorly made Oreilly's I tried this one. The other was so cheaply made and didn't even shrink the center tab. They are different, they compress the center and are very strong and durable. This tool doesn't break! . Not so! Although it works correctly most of the time, there are some design flaws that make it very difficult to use and get a good crimp. I messed up 2 clips trying to use it.
