The best food for cats! in Dry

I have been looking for a cat food that comes as close as possible to a cat's actual nutritional needs and this is the best I have found without breaking the bank. It has the lowest carb content and the only ingredient I disapprove of is peas, but it's way better than all competing brands. My cat has been taking it for a few years now and he is healthy, maintains a good weight, has a good coat and loves it.

US source. The cats love it.

I've had indoor and outdoor cats all my life and now I have 6 indoor cats and 12 or more feral cats. I switched all of these cats to Earthborn Holistic as the main ingredient in the previous diet was from China. Yes, the cats had some diarrhea, which can happen with any diet change, but they are very healthy and happy at any age. They love their food and I've noticed their boxes have a lot less clutter and they don't always eat the same amount. The pieces are small so there isn't much else that

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Can be harmful

Great food! Kittens love it!

My kittens got a taste and they liked it so much that we switched from another brand of food. They like this whole food more than the raw coated pellets they ate. It is comparable in price and quality to other food I have fed and I love that Earthborn has never had any criticism or issues with the food. In fact, initially I was arguing between this brand and another brand. The grain is decent, with a turkey flavor, which is good since many cat foods are chicken or fish based, especially wet…

Pros
  • Brilliantly cooked

Go to Cat Food

A few years ago I needed a grain free complete food for my cats. I did a little research and didn't want them to eat typical supermarket or pet store food like Royal Canin anymore. Especially after reading some of the not so good stuff about a lot of these brands. I came across Earthborn through various forums, websites and blogs that I frequent. I needed something healthy, grain free, whole food and not too expensive. Earthborn meets these requirements perfectly. My cats have tried different…

The taste seems more appetizing than other brands.

I fed my two cats (now 10 years old) a variety of foods for the first year of their life. I then gave up Purina's standard cat food because it was less than $15 a bag and I was a starving chick getting through college. After finally becoming more financially secure, I decided it was time to upgrade their food to something more substantial quality. Man, good cat food is expensive! I read tons and tons of reviews and articles pointing me in the right direction, and I ended up buying Taste of the…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No insurance

This food is well received by my indoor cats and works great with my feeder (Le Bistro) which has had problems with large litter. The small granule size of this feed makes it ideal for use in feeders, now it dispenses this feed with 100% reliability so when I'm out of town I don't have to worry about the feeder sticking or not! Quality ingredients and my cats are full and happy. Three Happy House Cats Agree! If you have older/obese cats this food may be too oily (as mine only gets fatter and…

Not the same from my pet store!

I love this brand! My cats love this brand. I would like to give 5 stars. I give it two because I think it's not the brand's fault, it's Revain's. In the picture, the food above is from my pet store and the food below is from Amazon. You can see the difference between them. I ordered my regular 14 pound bag from the pet shop I usually go to but it had to take a week to get it so I figured if I ordered a small bag from Amazon it would be there quicker and last them with a different step. The bag

Pros
  • Suitable for many people
Cons
  • I'm worried

Got this as an upgrade for my cat as she has gotten a little lighter lately and the vet is on high protein food recommended. After several hours of research, this food appeared to offer the best balance of beneficial ingredients and availability. This food contains 44% protein. Not the highest number, but a 12% increase for him was placed side by side. My other cat is very picky and she too was interested but went to the old food (with a bit of it in it) Edit: a few hours later and she was…
