Easy to install. We measured our old brass shower handle and simply replaced it with this matte black handle. super easy. Helpful that they made both screw lengths available for options. Removing the old handle was more difficult than installing this one. Bought this to give our bathroom a little makeover without going broke for a total makeover in a few years.

Looks nice but you can see the silver hex head screws (the kind used to attach towel rails) in the black handles and the finish looks almost plastic. Pretty light load, but probably a good price considering how expensive some of the thicker alternatives were. I actually tried a few options and some of them were too thin to be a serious pen and those that were big enough tended to be many times more expensive.

that looks pretty good for its price. feels strong I used a 1/4" drill bit instead of a 5/16" as the instructions say. However, when selling a black pen, they must supply black set screws, not chrome/stainless steel/silver. I have mild OCD so I'll take one to Lowes and buy some black set screws. We ordered them for a newly installed folding door in a solarium. The 12-inch size was the smallest we could find. The problem with folding doors is that when you try to fully open the door, the handle prevents you from fully opening the door. I had to cut the screw and put a protective cap on the other side of the door. We just use a different set for the barn door that we have.
