My old tires needed replacing. I took the new tires out of the box and formed them into rounds, then mounted them on the Beach Cruiser rims. Very easy. Looks good, old rubber torn. These new tires have more tread than the old ones and maybe more rolling resistance, but I took the Beach Cruiser for a test drive in the area and it rode great.

If you're looking for bigger tires you can pay almost as much at Walmart as you would for a cheap bike. an old but nice beach cruiser that is used regularly and now needs new tires. The inner tubes can be fitted with the tires or left for the next apartment. Fixing an apartment should be easy, but after screwing it up once, I now gravitate towards the easier route, changing the inner chamber every time. So having a spare pair is a plus for me.

I have an old Schwinn Cruiser with rotten tires and they were a perfect replacement! The kit was well packaged and included everything (rim tape/spoke guards, inner tubes, tires and tools). You wouldn't believe twisted flat tires get stuck on the rim and fit snugly. Not correct! The kit includes a rubber gasket that covers the spoke set screws, hoses, tires, and an installation tool that I didn't use. I found that once the seal and tube were in place, it was easier to mount the tire with a zip tie to hold the tire where the air shaft goes through the rim.
