This product is NOT stainless steel. Shiny metal will burn or flake off. When I use it for the first time and go to the trash, I'm afraid it might poison my stomach. Don't waste your money, it's cheap as a toy. It is also very difficult to use and one of the locks barely works. I will ask for my money back.

This stainless steel cake pan with lid is the perfect accessory for my 8 and 6 liter instant pots. There are many others that sell for less money, but I love that this one has a handle on the lid that makes it easier and safer to take it out of the instant pot. If you have 8qt. IP you can easily host two of them. It can be used to cook rice and many other dishes, not just pies. Very happy with this purchase!

Ordered Thursday, received Saturday. This 7" x 3" pan is perfect for making flan and cheesecake (among other things) in my 6-quart Instant Pot. I'll order a few more in a moment. I love that it includes a lid with a handle for easy removal from the IP. And with a lid, it's very easy to put it in the fridge to chill. Bravo for developing such a durable and great product!

Nice pot. That's more than the 6 inches described if you include the clips attached to the pallet. So I had to send it back. Because the clips are attached to the lid, it doesn't fit in my old mini pressure cooker (Cooks Essentials). Otherwise I would take a saucepan (without a lid), make a ribbon out of aluminum foil and cover it with another piece of foil. But unfortunately it was a bit big. So sad no cake today. . .

I bought this item to make cake. The hardest part about making flan is turning it over when it's done. A shallow pan is required to reduce the drop distance from pan to plate.
