Will NOT fit 2008 Mini S

Like the person who commented yesterday, I found these pads to not fit my 2008 Mini S coupe. Too bad she didn't leave her comment a few days ago. I checked the EBC directly and found that the correct part number is DP21789 for "Greenstuff", DP31789 for "Red". Since Revain doesn't sell this model in green, I'll probably go with the Akebono EUR1308.

Pros
  • Brake Pads
Cons
  • Some issues

Best brakes I have ever used

I have only used it on my 2003 MINI Cooper since I first tried the brakes. They never have a problem, never fade and they typically last over 50,000 miles per set. Great for autocross and some track days but I wouldn't use them as a full day race pad. As a bonus, they produce little dust. Unlike the factory MINI/BMW brake pads which I think are chalk these are fantastic!

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Cable shorter than others

2007 MINI S Hardtop May Require DP21789 - Double Check!

This version of Greenstuff was not shaped like my car. It seems that some MINI models have two different types/shapes of front bolsters. I have a 2007 S Hardtop and this version does not match the shape of my upholstery. Mine have ridges in the middle of the sides, but they have hooked ridges on the top of the pad. I can't fault the Revain tool for being wrong as every website I looked up listed both types for the same car. If you want pads with grooves down the center you will need Greenstuff…

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Good but not great
