Underwhelming Brake Upgrade for Automotive Enthusiasts

I had high hopes for this brake upgrade, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The ceramic material may provide a quieter ride, but it didn't deliver the stopping power I needed for aggressive driving situations. The aesthetics were appealing, but performance is what matters most in automotive upgrades.

Pros
  • Aesthetically pleasing
Cons
  • Underwhelming stopping power

EBC Redstuff - NOT low-dust!

I fitted 'Redstuff' EBC pads to my Jaguar S-Type 'R'. Are they as good as factory upholstery? Yes, they do. Little dust? No! In fact, I think they can be even worse than standard pads. I bought them for the low dust factor not what I got.

Pros
  • High friction with low heat
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Brake Pad Specifications

Pros: These things bite hard and are very fade resistant. Consistent performance from stop to stop. Cons: short lifespan, noise at low levels and heavy dusting, your wheels will be permanently dirty. That being said, I'm a full-time Lyft rider, so I drive a lot of miles around town and brake late. I make about 60,000 a year from most of the city and I got about 35,000 off my first set.

Pros
  • Great for fast driving and premium sedans
Cons
  • Not for everyone
