Insufficient information on the item

The description does not say for front or rear brake pads. It's such a shame when you order 2 of the same! What I didn't need! Never again!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Modern

Wrong part For 14 NC700X without ABS

This is not a review just a clarification. If you have a 2014 Honda NC700x, this AF 174 part is not for you. You will need part number AF140. I don't know if it's Amazon or the shipper. According to Revane, this part fits, but doesn't fit. Just upside down.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Not the best

Seems smaller than OEM

They don't seem to be holding up as well as the regular organics I've replaced. However, I have an expectation that EBC pads will not detach from the backing plate in less than 3 years due to corrosion as has been the case with generic pads. Everything fits as it should, although they appear thinner than they should have been.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • No performance

Excellent product, quality EBC

Installed rear pads on my SV650S. They're good, but since I'm pretty fast in the canyons, next time I'll go for the HH pads, only $5 more. However, there is no longer a need for organic pads, HHs are inexpensive, last longer, have better feel and stopping power. Due to the small price difference, I recommend you to use sintered EBC HH.

Pros
  • Many positive emotions
Cons
  • disappear
