Ideal for snakes, best for reptiles and amphibians

I need to provide my snake with UV light and this lamp does it. It's also a great place for him to bask in the "sunshine". It does exactly what I need!

Chicks love it

We are currently using this light on our chickens. We normally use a red light but the chicks seem very happy with the brighter yellow light. He's definitely doing his job and we have some happy little chicks! Good product. Recommend.

Better Than Red Light

I had a sick chicken that responded well to this light. When I had the red light on the chicken the chicken was quite aggressive but when I switched to that light it helped calm the chicken down. It was only a chicken so it is not suitable for any research, this is just my personal experience. That's a good lamp.

Plenty of Heat

Just got this to use with our chickens in colder weather. However, spring is fast approaching and the need for this lamp has greatly decreased. I installed it to see how much heat it gives off. This will definitely help keep the chickens warm. I can't say how long it will take as I don't need it right now. It will be stored until next winter when my hens will appreciate it. It works out! Try it.
