After reading some of the reviews I was a bit nervous before purchasing. Some have said they're faux leather, that they're narrow, that they're too big, or that the construction is a bit poor quality. I found the complete opposite! Ecco makes quality products. Leather and tailoring are top notch! You are the real deal! They produce them in European sizes. Which would be confusing. Therefore, it appears slightly larger for US sizes. I would downsize. One for you. If you want something more or less in this color, this could be for you. In perfect light they come close to the listed color but they don't have the cheerful matte or suede look I thought I saw online. They are spectacularly olive in dim light and brown in low light. Also, the sole on the web photo seems solid while the ribbed one looks like a real shoe. I've tried to be honest with comparison photos.

I am a big fan of ECCO shoes and these shoes did not disappoint. What I really like is that the border on them isn't white. I love this look, especially with shorts in the summer months, but they give you another wearing option as you head into the winter months and wear a lot more jeans than shorts. I've always been an ECCO fan but this purchase makes me reconsider. After 7 months of use, the fabric of the upper is separating from the sole. I don't climb Everest in these things, but I expect them to at least withstand the harsh and extreme conditions of my cabin. Now I'm going to find out if I can replace them or get my money back.
