So far so good: Spare parts

Received well packaged, easy assembly. A bit noisy at first but once the gas is compressed and working the squeaky loud elephant noises stop. It took about half a day, but it shows up right away. Very soft.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Excellent purchase! Really easy installation!

I ordered these for a liftgate on my 2008 Chevy Tahoe. The old lifting legs were worn out and my tailgate wouldn't even open halfway. When I changed them to this, the problem was solved immediately.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Broke, the back landed on the man's head

I bought these for my car in November, they were easy to replace and have worked for the next few months. Yesterday the left one came loose and my hatchback fell on my husband's head. He put it back on, but today it broke. I am trying to contact the seller and ask for a replacement. I do not recommend

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Expandable

So simple, an 11-year-old can put them on.

Arrived as expected. While I was concerned about the much lower cost compared to local parts stores, they were very easy to install. (My 11-year-old son replaced them in half an hour or less, and he did it before I had time to think about making a video). Value for money seems good as they work. I don't know how long they will last before they're gone but I'm very happy with my purchase.

  • Brings joy

REAR CONTROL STANDS MUST BE INSTALLED!

They should be installed in the opposite direction from the standard posts. If you look at the ends of the clamps, there is a bend at one end. On this unit, they are reversed from the OEM struts, meaning they must be installed backwards to get the correct geometry. If you place both devices side by side, you may find that they need to be flipped. So far they've worked well. Time will tell about the durability. I'm taking off a star just because there's no direction and realize they need to be…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not bad
