ECCPP Towing Mirrors for Dodge Ram 1500 2500 3500 Truck - Enhanced Power Operation, Manual Folding, 1994-1997 Review

Installation was easy on a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel. No vibration - foam inserts retained from the original mirrors and sued as suggested in addition to what was included. The stud turned out to be a bit long, but after installing it with a dermal tool, simply trimmed off the excess. The hardest part was figuring out how to remove the old stock mirrors.

After reading some of the reviews I was excited but still hesitant to order. However when I received mine they fitted my 96 2500 Cummins slt Laramie perfectly. The power part of the mirrors works perfectly, without lags and short circuits. It seems great. Hold tight! And look great! Time will tell its durability but so far I have no complaints!

Mirrors look great and were delivered ahead of scheduled arrival time. But I can't give you 5 stars yet. Because I haven't been able to install it yet. I will update my review after installation. Although instructions would be helpful. Maybe a youtube video on installation. UPDATE: They weren't that difficult to install and I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the lack of instructions.

If I hadn't waited a few months I would have given them 5 stars. But after very little use (my truck drives maybe 5 times a year) the motor on the passenger side only seems to move the mirror down and in. So when I've driven where I want, I have to get out and move it manually. with hands raised. Plus, they look nice, look good, and work well. They vibrate a little but not enough to block your vision when you use them. Overall good mirrors but far from OEM quality.

1997 Dodge 2500. These mirrors are amazing. It is easy to install, the bolts do not touch the power mirrors. The electronics worked perfectly no matter which way it was turned. It is not necessary to remove the entire door panel. I just pulled out one piece of plastic from the top and two from the bottom of the front of the door. It flexes just enough to do its job. I've had these on my truck for about two weeks and today one on the driver's side fell off the freeway on the way home from work. The broken metal bracket inside hit my truck door and luckily I had the power cords and the cord kept it from falling onto the freeway and hitting the car behind me. They seemed to be of good quality when I installed them, but I don't think so. A terrible thing to say the least. Received today, well packaged, good quality. But after plugging them in I can't stop blowing the fuses every time I try to adjust them. Connected normal mirrors, everything works. Initially this is a 15 fuse but I increased it to 35. So far 6 fuses have blown. Since stock mirrors don't blow fuses, I narrowed it down to the mirror wiring. These mirrors look great but have no quality control. These are cheap mirrors made in China and you get what you pay for. It can take more than one shipment to get a working set, but Revain handles that well. The first box had a broken driver's mirror that only moved diagonally up/down and down/forward.
