Very easy to install

Very easy to install after watching a YouTube video on how to get rid of the dead. The only problem is that one of the rears is stuck and the rear window doesn't always open on its own. Better than trying to raise a window with a stick.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Worth the money

Delivery was on time and well packaged. My body shop charged over $200 to replace the stock hood and rear window. I installed it myself in 15 minutes with no problems. They work even better than the originals. worth your money.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Attention, parts are not marked!

This item is good but you should TAG the hood kit. We spent at least half an hour trying to figure out why the rear window was so narrow because we put hood lifters on the rear window. I don't understand why the manufacturer can't label at least one to save the consumer time.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Not sure

Better than OEM, easy to install.

These struts will give you good pressure on the hood and rear window and hope they last a long time. When you remove the old ones, use a very small flat head screwdriver to pry up the clips and they will pop right out. Remember the larger diameter spacers are for the hood, both sets are about the same length.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Ok

Label them as spares

It would be nice if they were labeled front and back. The hood has more pressure resistance and you won't notice the difference. Only after you install the hood, it stays on the tailgate and does not close it due to excessive compression, remove it and reinstall it on the hood. It's a 50/50 guess who goes where. Otherwise they do their job very well.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Repair

It is great! Be careful as they come in pairs.

it's great! Be careful though as they come in pairs in separate boxes and both have the same part number and do not identify which is for the bonnet and which is for the tailgate window. I accidentally installed the hood on the rear window and found it really VERY difficult to close. Then the new hoods didn't fit, the tips are different on the hood and rear window. The hood tips are larger and the tailgates are smaller. Otherwise they are great and affordable.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • something different

Common sense helps! You work great for your freedom!

Honestly I see in all these reviews that they are mounted in the wrong place, the ones for the top are significantly thicker and heavier than the ones for the rear window! If you try to squeeze them, the windows can only be done manually, and the hoods have to be pressed to the floor. But for people without common sense, I have marked them for you, you will receive 2 boxes with a sku sticker. I marked them in the pictures. no more guesswork. Yes, the manufacturer should add a note of what's…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
