mirrors fit perfectly. A year went by and I thought my truck had a bad ambient temperature sensor. I bought a new one only to find it was in the passenger mirror. How can I fix it now? I don't like it at all.

Most of these items cost a fraction of what you would pay at a retailer as they DO NOT HAVE MOST OF THE FEATURES OF THE ORIGINAL HARDWARE. There's no motor controls for telescoping and folding, and no temperature gauge to read the temp on the dash (yes, that's where it is).

I like mirrors but I have a problem with them: there is power to adjust the mirrors and they get hot but that's not true. My truck was at the auto repair shop. So I ordered mirrors to save money and started blacking them out. But when I got the truck back they were manual and the heated mirrors didn't work either. So I'm a little disappointed to say the least because now I have to order something else so I don't have to get in and out of the truck a few times to put the mirrors on.

Decent quality product and bolted together well. BUT. They are listed as for 2011 f350 and up, but on those years the ambient air temperature sensor is in the front mirror and they are not. The workaround is to remove the sensor from your old mirror, disassemble that mirror and remove the wiring harness, then remove the two ambient temperature sensor pins and connect that mirror to that sensor.
