Works as it should!

For those who say it doesn't work! Well, you have to make sure that the metal clip is inserted into the black clip until it clicks into place. Quite easy. My wife and I have been using it for many years.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Useful for the last thirty years

I've been using it since it came out. I think maybe thirty years. Every helmet gets one, except those that already come with quick release buckles. They work easily and well both with and without gloves. They are also very safe. Money well spent! I usually keep a few triples in reserve to give to the unenlightened! Well, played again, Echo!

This is a very inexpensive way to fix a broken helmet latch.

I have read several reviews, some very long to say the least. I bought half a helmet to ride my Harley. The clasp broke accidentally. A cost-effective solution. Took 5 minutes to put on, follow the instructions and there are no problems with this closure. The only reason I gave it three out of five stars for ease of blocking is that I have to toggle it on and off a few times to get used to it. The first few times I had to look in the mirror to line up the tabs but this is a great product so…

Very comfortable and durable

This quick release was a great purchase that took away a lot of the frustration of trying to fit a helmet every day. It used to take me around 10-15 seconds to put on a helmet, but now I've reduced that time to 3 seconds. It may not seem like such a big deal, but if you drive every day like me, it's very nice. This is correct when first installed because if you have an accident and it is not installed properly or not fully secured this helmet will not stay. I've never had any problems and I've…

Great solution for those who hate D-rings

The photo shows this quick release buckle on a Shoei RF-S helmet. The overhang of the belt is pulled together with two rubber bands (white, photo). I didn't have the heart to cut off the extra strap. I love this product very much. Yes, it's not as slick as the quick release straps you'll find on helmets sold in Europe, but it's better than having to deal with D-rings. I don't understand why manufacturers in the US put these D-rings on almost every helmet! Either way, there's a learning curve…

Bought one for my new helmet

Had it on an old helmet, tried swapping it out for my new helmet and got a little frustrated trying to get it off my old one and just left it there and bought a new one since it was cheap enough to just buy. I liked it so much that I bought it for my new HJC I90 and it did business quickly. Since I've had one, nothing has changed since the last one... it can be a little fiddly to close the gloves (I already have gorilla paws) but it's much more convenient than using double D-rings... and it's…

Easy to use. Just read the instructions!

I love these quick clips on all my outdoor helmets. They make it easy to slip gloves into gloves (we had to take ALL our gloves off because we forgot to buckle up). Seems really safe, I've used them at a race track and had an accident once and the chin strap hasn't snapped or come loose so I can say firsthand they've been crash tested. Just make sure you insert the anchor pin into the double D-rings (as shown/guided) otherwise the D-rings will rub against your neck/chin when closed. When…

Works perfectly! - Protective gear

Works great. I've had one of these on my helmet for over 12 years. Maybe not the same brand, but the same overall design and features. I bought this helmet for my 3 year old son to make it easier for me to put on and take off. I read some reviews that it was difficult to open with gloves on. I've never had a problem with it and live in Wisconsin where it's typically -20F in the winter. I had some of the thickest gloves on and was still able to open them with ease. If you wear thin riding gloves
