If you have already purchased this filter for your KitchenAid fridge and it has worked great, DO NOT CLICK 'BUY NEW! The filter is much smaller than in the previous version. The water is simply blocked by the filter. The previous filter was "EBL7770" and this new one is "EBL7770A". Unfortunately if you buy this you are lost as the seller does not accept returns. Shame on this company for such a bait!

My Whirlpool refrigerator gave a "change filter” warning after a year. I noticed that the water flow in the dispenser also became very slow. I decided to try this filter and I am very satisfied with its work. I unscrewed the old filter (place some paper towels under the dispenser when removing/installing the filter as the water drips a bit) and screwed the new filter into the housing. The most important thing to consider is whether this filter performs as advertised, performs as promised and lasts as expected. I had the same replacement filter in my fridge that I bought from Revain for a year. I ordered the same model here and installed it. Despite the fact that it enters the filter cover, water does not flow through it. The water just wouldn't come on. So I replaced the old one, my water flowed normally again. So I took both out and compared the filters. The bore in this new version is significantly smaller than the old one. Now I see that others have encountered this problem. Came back for a refund

*UPDATE* The filter didn't last 3 months. I've lived with water that tastes just like my tap water for almost 2 months. I bought this filter because of the cheap price.
